1. Who we are

Cabana Beach Bar, Cabana Beach Bar, Ayapinoros, Yeroskipou 8204, Cyprus. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this booking site.

2. What we collect

  • Reservation details — name, email address, phone number, date, time, party size, and any special requests you choose to share.
  • Payment authorisation data — when you authorise the card hold, our payment provider (JCC) generates an order reference and approval code that we store against your reservation. We never see, store or transmit your full card number, CVC or expiry date.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and timestamps, used to prevent abuse of the booking form.

3. Why we use it

  • To create and manage your reservation.
  • To send you a booking confirmation and, if needed, follow-up emails about your visit (hold release, cancellation, reminder).
  • To process the refundable card hold via our payment provider.
  • To improve service and prevent fraud or abuse of the booking system.

4. Who we share it with

  • JCC Payment Systems Ltd — for card authorisation, capture, void and refund operations. Subject to their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) — used to deliver booking-related transactional emails to you.
  • We do not sell personal data and do not share it for marketing purposes with third parties.

5. How long we keep it

  • Reservation records: retained for up to 24 months after your visit for operational and accounting purposes.
  • Payment audit records: retained for at least 7 years in line with Cyprus accounting and tax law.
  • Web logs / abuse-prevention data: typically 90 days.

6. Your rights

Under the EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain types of processing. You can also lodge a complaint with the Cyprus Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.

7. Cookies

The booking site uses a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep your session and remember basic preferences (e.g. selected language). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on the booking site.
